I used these as a gift to my sisters, because the candy store we used to get them at no longer carries them. They are the best.
Wonderfully different

This candy has been an Easter tradition in my family since I was a child. When our local candy store closed,they were hard to find. You (and the internet) have brought back our family tradition! The quality, freshness and flavors are wonderful, although I couldn't identify the flavor of the yellow candy, didn't taste like the lemon I was used to.

My granddmother put these in our easter baskets and I would trade all my candy for these.

I look forward to the cordial eggs at this time of year. I used to buy them locally in my city but they stopped making/buying them.

Long Lost Favorite!!!

Had these cordial eggs when I was a child at Easter in the basket from my grandmother. The store closed in the mid 70's and lost them for 30 years and found them here buying nuts for my husband. I'm thrilled!!! This is my favorite candy/treat in the world!!!

Years ago, a candy store called Dutch
Mill used to sell the cordial eggs at Easter time. They went out of business. Then my sister found them at Stop and Shop in Chicago, but they closed too. Then I found them at Georia Nut in Skokie, but they discontinued them years ago. My mother, sister and self have been addicted to the fruit cordial eggs. i was so excited to find them at Oh Nuts!. I always bought my sister several pounds for her birthday in early April. I was so excited to find them and to give them to her as a gift. She went absolutely crazy about them anc could not believe I found them again. They are very sweet...and very delicious. What a great delicacy to find after all these years. Be careful, they are addicting!!! Great to find an old time favorite to enjoy. Thanks!!!
Charming and Old Fashioned!

When I was a child, our home-town candy store had beautiful little liquid cordial eggs with a robin's egg blue speckled candy coating. I would only get these once a year, but I loved them and always looked forward to them. I haven't seen those eggs for decades, and believe me, I've been looking. In my searches, I found your cordial eggs and thought I'd give them a try. While they're not exactly the same as the candy eggs of my childhood, they are just as delightful! I love that they are very subtly flavored and sweet. As a supertaster, I find so much candy nowadays has an overpowering flavor - too hot, too sour, too bitter. These old-fashioned eggs are not only delicately tasty, but they're pretty enough to decorate with!

They say sweet, and they mean sweet. I was hoping for a more subtle flavor. The company is very good and their advertising is probably correct. But if you don't like really sweet, these are not for you.
