Non-Dairy Orange Foiled Creme de Orange Chocolate Truffles

These were very good indeed. The only drawback was that they were all hard to unwrap as the wrapping was stuck to the bottom of every chocolate. These were shipped during cold weather, so I'm certain there wasn't any melting or damage during shipment. My guess is that either the chocolate enrobing machine didn't quite cover the bottom which allowed the filling to leak out (this is what I suspect), or the product wasn't sufficiently cooled before it was wrapped and packaged. They may have been containerized too soon and some residual heat remained in some of the candies, which was then transferred to all of the bundled candies causing an overall melting. But if that was the case, why would the wrapper only stick to the bottom of the candy? I suspect they were either wrapped too quickly after being made; the enrober didn't cover the bottom with enough of the chocolate product, or both.

Really deicious for those of us who love orange chocolate flavor. I wouldn't bother with the more expensive kind anyway b/c this is very good.
