These dates are supreme! They are soft, creamy, carmelly, with imperceptible tender skins and a gorgeous color. I used to buy my jumbo Medjool dates from a little store in Queens where the dates were treated as jewels, lined up perfectly in a wax coated box, and refrigerated, weighed carefully by the pound. When I left NY I never thought I would taste such good dates again. I was literally misty eyed when I tasted these. I will say when you experienced these, because tasting can not describe the pleasure you get from these dates. The texture is amazing, soft and creamy. Pull them apart remove the pit and savor them in all of their carmelly splendor. Paired with walnuts and a nice espresso or tea, you will be enveloped in decadence. Worth every penny. I will buy these again!

These are soo good! They must be pure sugar. There arent any added sugars, but these are definitely treats. Watch out, if you eat these out of the bag, they'll disappear before you know what happened.They have a slight grainy texture associated with dates btw for those who have never had them. Still very creamy though. Minced pieces make for a great addition to oatmeal.

We love to eat a one or two dates, one or two figs, a few almonds, and one or two dried apricots, for breakfast a few times a week. These are the best dates we've ever eaten (well, just about tied with the dates we got at the shuk in Jerusalem). They are very moist and have a great flavor. Ordered two pkgs of Medjools after the Christmas season (post harvest season also?) and found the first pkg I opened to be overly dry and shriveled. Not impressed. However, the second pkg had plump, juicy, perfect dates in it! Thrilled! I wish the first bag had been as good. Even though they're grown only two hours away from me in So. Cal., it was strange that they were shipped from NY, which delayed my receipt of the order considerably compared to local shipping. Still, I will order these again from Oh Nuts, as well as the wonderful roasted pistacios I had ordered with the dates.

I was delighted with the quality of date and the loose packing, so I didn't have to destroy the integrity of the fruit while digging it out. These are great snacks.

Medjool Dates difficult to find in Al

Sam's sells Medjool for a short time around Thanksgiving and I'm always too late to purchase any. This year I decided to order some from the net. Thank you for being there. The dates are delicious and a healthy snack for my grandchildren. They love them!!!

I'm on an alkaline diet, and a neighbor introduced me to Medjool dates from an open market back in Maine. Now I'm in Florida so I went online and found these. I have tried other company's dates and they just do not compare to these. Medjool dates are superb and the OhNuts dates represent the best of this particular variety. Large, plump, sweet - and not fibrous as other supermarket medjool versions can be. Great for snacking and a healthy alternative when the need for a sweet attacks you...

These dates are soft and sweet but they do have the pitts...they are great rolled in some spices...stuffed with a pineapple tidbit and wrapped in bacon them baked...they taste just like BBQ..great for snacks or unexpected company...and holidays...

I use dates in vegan raw food dishes, especially desserts. I got tired of trying to get dates from my "health food store." The story was always, they'll be in on Saturday...When I could get them they were often dry and over priced.
