I have used Oh Nuts slivered almonds for years in my homemade granola. They arrive in good shape, never broken up. Very flavorful, too. I wouldn't make my granola with any other kind. Great for roasting and using on salads and desserts, too. Oh, did I mention that you can't find slivered almonds at this price anywhere else?

The blanched slivered almonds are an excellent quality, perfect for baking,and all other cooking uses. They can be difficult to find in the open market, and the Oh Nuts price is an excellent value. I am extremely satisfied with my order, and I look forward to future purchases.

I roast them,store them in an air-tight container;most of it goes in freezer(for extended long term freshness)and a smaller air-tight conatiner to use daily as topping for rice dishes,salads,snacking etc.
I would buy this product again & again.

I love the new zipper style closure on the packaging. This feature wasn't on my last order. All four pounds were in one large bag and I broke each pound into a smaller storage Ziploc bag. Now I don't have to do that. I love it! These nuts are so delicious and so good for you. I eat a handful on a salad every day; sometimes twice a day. They are soooooooo yummy!

Roasting the blanched almonds for whatever end use seems to enhance the flavor. These nuts have always been uniform in size (no chips), and are fresh. There is also very little nut "flour" in the bag.
