Blanched Slivered Almonds

I love to sprinkle these on my salad once or twice a day. They add a super, delicious, good for you crunch.

I roast them,store them in an air-tight container;most of it goes in freezer(for extended long term freshness)and a smaller air-tight conatiner to use daily as topping for rice dishes,salads,snacking etc.

I love the new zipper style closure on the packaging. This feature wasn't on my last order. All four pounds were in one large bag and I broke each pound into a smaller storage Ziploc bag. Now I don't have to do that. I love it! These nuts are so delicious and so good for you. I eat a handful on a salad every day; sometimes twice a day. They are soooooooo yummy!

Roasting the blanched almonds for whatever end use seems to enhance the flavor. These nuts have always been uniform in size (no chips), and are fresh. There is also very little nut "flour" in the bag.

I use these almonds in my chocolate, cherry almond biscotti.

Love haven these nuts in the freezer...so handy @ any given time...

Use this on top of cooked oatmeal - also layered in a yogurt parfait.

This is my third order of these almonds. The quality, price and freshness are top-notch.
