Almond Brittle

Almond brittle has always been a savory and delectable delight. Clusters of roasted almonds are sunk into hot blend of corn syrup, honey and sugar at a high temperature, and then mixed to create an aromatic concoction. After that, the almond mix is spread out on a sheet in order to dry and harden. Almond brittle is an excellent treat for a celebration or holiday and makes a perfect crunchy snack. Each crisp, rectangular piece of brittle is about 3? x 1.5?. There are approximately 13 pieces per lb.
