My daughter eats shelled sunflower seeds all the time. She says these giant Israeli sunflower seeds are the best! I've sent them to her at college for Rosh Hashanah (along with a honey gift) and for Passover (along with chocolate covered almonds and Turkish apricots), and she has always been very happy to receive them. I made the mistake of sending her sunflower seeds from another company once, but she let me know that the seeds (and chocolate almonds) from Oh! Nuts are the best!

Growing up in Israel, eating roasted salted sunflower seeds was a staple, a right of passage. No place in the world has seeds as big or tasty than these seeds. David's JUMBO seeds DO NOT hold a candle to these. Thank you "Oh Nuts" for carrying these!!

I'm a sunflower seed addict. I've been cracking and eating them for over 20 years. I've "researched" to find out where to go for the best seeds. Locally all I can get is Planters or David and those are very average. I finally read online about these Israeli seeds from Oh Nuts! and thought I ought to give them a try. While the flavor is good (after all, I've never tasted bad ones), it is very misleading when you first get a look at them. The shell is SOOO much bigger than the actual seed inside which is a bit of a disappointment. I am happy to eat the 11 pounds I bought, but in the future I will be returning to Dakota Kids brand seeds.

I lived in Israel for several years and fell in love with real 'garinim' from street shops. I have missed them since. Except for deliveries from friends from there, I have learned to live without them. Not anymore! These are the real thing! Heat them a bit and they are like you bought them minutes ago on the street. They are the actual (large) size and the salt is baked on just right. So happy I found these.

I bought like 21 pounds of these wonderful sunflower seeds. They are HUGE and taste GREAT!!! I used to have to search through a store bought bag to find big seeds and after I ran out of these i found all others to be tasteless and tiny... Downside: I got them in two huge bags, which were written in Isreali I guess. I would prefer them in 1 or 2 pound bags. It was incredibly hard to keep them fresh -- Don't refrigerate nuts EVER! they will dry out and taste horrible.
