History has never tasted so sweet. Goldenberg's Peanut Chews were first introduces in 1917 as a ration bar for the U.S. military during World War I. Featuring a mix of peanuts and molasses in a chocolate coating, the bars provided energy and protein. Generations have enjoyed these wonderful treats, which are now made by the same company that makes Mike and Ikes and Hot Tamales.

These mini bars are a smaller version of the same classic flavor. Individually wrapped, they fit perfectly in nostalgic gift packages, and are a perfect treat to serve for Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day or other patriotic gatherings. Classic candies - not always easy to find in local stores and when you do they tend to be stale. These ship quick, and are high quality.

I was hoping for more of a dark chocolate taste. Overall, they were a good snack if you are into a crunch peanut taste.

I have probably tried every candy bar you can think of and nothing compares to Goldenbergs peanut chews! I remember as a small child visiting my great aunt. She always had a pack on her parlor desk and I would sneak one out. Needless to say, I visited her a lot. lol They have been my favorite and they are addictive. I honestly eat 2 bags a week. Highly recommended if you have never tried them. The chocolate is perfect, chocked full of peanut bits with a delicious chocolate molasses filling. This is a very under rated candy.

These were awesome. Came quickly and were a hit for the faimly.

These are very hard to find here in Florida. Only one grocery store carries them and they run out quickly. I happened to finf these are line and ordered 3 lbs. They lasted a week in our home. They were delivered quickly in great condition. Will be ordering these again many times over.
