Challah of old!

Have lived in Colorado for over 30 years and have tried to make our own Challah for the Holidays. Altitude is not conducive for bread making! Oh nuts! has provided us with a taste of New York for Rosh Hashanah. We were concerned that it took almost a week to get them delivered here. Last year’s experience was not good, but this year we froze the challahs as soon as they arrived and defrosted them for our traditional blessings on Rosh Hashanah eve and it was truly a slice of heaven! Just like we remembered from the old Jewish bakeries. Suggestion to order early to ensure quality!

Just as good as the last time I ordered it. My entire family enjoyed it. In fact, my daughter wants to order some. Very fresh, tasty and long lasting. Since I live an hour from the nearest 'kosher' bakery, the extra cost is well worth it!

I was so happy to receive my challahs invitation time even though I ordered late. I was disappointed that they weren’t from Zomicks however they were good and fresh.

First time I ever ordered Challah on line. I was afraid it would be hard and stale but it was amazing. It was fresh, tasted great and everyone at our holiday table loved it. This was an easy way to get the things I can't always find locally. I will be buying this again.

The challahs were wonderful. Delicious, aromatic, flavorful we kept wanting to eat more. We look forward to buying, again.

This was not delivered as ordered to my daughter (with apples and honey), but Oh! Nuts was very good about sending a replacement as soon as the office was open again after Rosh Hashanah. Although my daughter was not able to eat this delicious challah in time for the holiday, she received it a week later, and told me it was very tasty, and a welcome treat at college. I had ordered the same items for my son; he received everything on schedule and also said the challah was delicious. I would definitely order it again for my kids.

This Challah was perfect for Rosh Hashanah! It came really quickly after I ordered it, in fact, the only bad thing was having to use so much self-control not to eat it early!! We are a gentile church but I teach Jewish/Hebraic root studies, I used this bread when teaching/observing Rosh Hashanah. It was so good people were taking big chunks instead of little pinches! For a congregation of about 30-40 1 loaf would be fine, but if you have more than 50 buy 2... if you have any left over send it to me!! mmm mmm good.
