I bought these for MY Easter basket(you gotta take care of yourself,right?)as I have always loved Jordan Almonds.Well,I snuck a few( before Easter) one night and was I shocked!In all my 55 years I guess I've never had a really fresh one.The candy shell was crunchy but not rock-hard and tasted wonderfully sweet and flavorful and the almond was so fresh! I had no idea.And I am a candy nut.

I bought these and the purple almonds for my 16 year old granddaughter in Arizona. She told me they can't find them everywhere so that's what she wanted. She loves them and her younger sister(I sent cheese to her)told me to take the cheese back she wants what I got her sister. I think they went over really well and will continue to shop at Ohnuts for ever.

I used these for my daughter's baby shower favors. The pastel colors were so pretty. The flavors were great and everyone loved them. I am trying to think of another reason to order some more. I tested the local candy company's jordan almonds and I thought they would break my teeth. These are exceptional in color, texture and taste.

I packaged these covered almonds in white chiffon little pull- string bags and then place them in a 2-3" little shiny white bag with silver handles and twp silver hearts with a small rinestone joining the hearts together. Everyone loved them and the nylon bag that held the almonds looked like tissue paper coming out of the bag.
Hope this gives someone an idea for their daughter's Bridal Shower candy. The Mint Pastel Lentils were put in large champange glasses!

I ordered the almonds to be used as a favor for my neices Bridal shower on June 14th. We wrapped the almonds( 5 different colors) and placed them in a sweet little box for each place setting. Inside the box we placed a label with the following "Five sugared almonds for each guest to eat. To remind us that life is both bitter and sweet. As my headline reads, Jordan almonds, whether multi colored or pure white, are so delicious and good for us that I consider them "Food for the Gods." In the past, I have purchased them from the supermarket, but those had a thick candy coating and were hard to bite into. The Jordan almonds that Oh Nuts sells are primo insofar as the candy coating is thin and flavorable, plus the almonds are strictly fresh and tasty.

The candy coating wasn't as thin as I expected. I had had some delicious, thinly-coated Jordan almonds at a wedding, which prompted me to buy these. Also, there was a somewhat chalky aftertaste, which I didn't expect. The Jordan almonds I get from the grocery store--which I believe are a lower quality than the ones offered here-- don't have the chalkiness I experienced with these candies. All in all, I would rate these as average. I liked them fine, but wouldn't order them again.

WIth an Italian heritage, I grew up with exposure to Jordan Almonds mostly at weddings but have always sought them out in candy stores. I ordered the pastel Jordan Almonds for my daughter's Candy Buffet at her wedding. They are exactly what I hoped for. I recently bought some Jordan almonds that had a name brand and the candy shell was so hard I could barely eat it and you could not taste the almond. These almonds have a delicate shell that is easy to crunch and a delicious almond inside. They are just perfect! Almonds have the highest protein content of any nut and are rich in fiber along with many other nutritional benefits. They also help lower cholesterol.
I eat a handful of Jordan almonds along with a cup of coffee and I'm good for lunch.

Quality Control Issue--About 4 dozen of the Jordan Almonds were chipped and or cracked. My suggestion would be to put bubble wrap of some sort in the "inside" of the 5 lb. boxes of almonds to prevent this from happening.
