Reminds me of my childhood

Our family has been a fan of Fox Mints since childhood -- well, back when they were in a tin you opened with a key! They were our favorite until my sister found these. I got my dad hooked (they were perfect for him when he was in the hospital for weeks), and now my beauty operator is wanting me to get her some AGAIN. My only lame complaint is that the cellophane wrapper is too loud when you go for one in church! I am considering ordering the case so I can be the highly respected "pusher of the perfect peppermint"!

I find this candy to be extremely good even though sometimes some of them in the same package do not have either enough peppermint or none at all, so they just taste like sugar candy. But overall, they're very good!

I LOVE peppermint candies, but not all measure up. I can walk down a candy isle and point out the "don't bother" ones! I know which contain real peppermint oil & which are fake. I know the right texture & speed at which they dissolve. I first encountered Matlow's Peppermints at a Workshop in Boston last month and fell in love. I stashed some away for my trip home so I could remain mindful of the name, and as soon as possible, searched them out & ordered my own. I've gifted them to colleagues, shared them as meeting refreshers, and been delighted when people oohed and aahed like I did the first time I ate one. The question that always follows is "Where did you get these?!" Matlow's Crystal Mints set the bar by which all other peppermints are to be measured!

I believe this is the same candy my mother purchased for our family back in the l960's. I have looked for it in stores for many years. It is absolutely the BEST peppermint. It is wonderful to satisfy a sweet tooth without overdoing the fat or calories. I LOVE IT!

Ilove Matlow's Hard Mints. I use it as a breath freshener and also when I have a little tickle in my throat.
