Beautiful Color!

Sampled these for favors at my daughter's upcoming wedding. These are really beautiful, but lack the wonderful crisp outer crunch that I adore in the chocolate covered jordan almonds. If you are going for the look, go for it! But if you insist on the crunchy exterior, these are not the ones.

I read the reviews and ordered about four lbs of these to fill a decorative dish at the guest book table of my wedding. I wasn't doing the now-popular candy buffet, so I wanted one pretty candy that would look elegant in the dish. When I got these, I was at first disappointed by their look in the bag, thinking they weren't very shiny; but in the jar they took on a nice gleam in the light. The taste was quite good, better than a jordan almond. Good dark chocolate, a nice crunch and not that sicky-sweet candy coating. Did have people trying to peel them, as others have mentioned. Overall, very pretty and tasty.

These are a perfect option for anyone wanting to have a traditional wedding favor with a touch of elegance! As mentioned in some of the other reviews, the gold coating does appear to be a foil wrapping, so your guests may be picking at the chocolate for a while before they figure that out. I highly recommend this product for weddings and any other celebrations where you want something with a special touch. Lastly, these taste great too! I had my mom and sister try them before the wedding and got great reactions:-)

These gold chocolate almonds are shinier than they look online. They taste great and are dark chocolate mint. I mixed 1 lb of these with 5lbs fall colored jordan almonds for gorgeous wedding favors.

I used these as fall wedding favors and they were awesome. Not your usual Jordan almond, the exterior is not hard and crunchy but rich and dark chocolate. The appearance is very elegant. I would definitely order them again.

I also ordered a sample bag - will be ordering for the favors for my wedding as well! Almonds are so much better with chocolate and these really look great in tuille! I also had someone try to 'peel' the almond as well. LOL

The gold almond jewels held up very well, even in the warm weather. They're very tasty and were a BIG hit with guests. The one "funny" thing that happened with them was that some people thought it was a paper wrapping on the outside, and they were trying to unwrap them. There's no wrapping.... it's just chocolate!
