Very tasty nuts, my favorite, but I bought them to put in a trail mix, which I won't do again. Most of the hazelnuts were coating less but some weren't and that coating trasnfered to the rest of the trail mix.

I couldn't find hazelnuts with the skin already off in the store, and these are a huge labor saver when you need 2 cups of roasted, skinned hazelnuts!

I saw a recipe on a cooking show that I wanted to try. Finding quality hazelnuts/filberts in the grocery story wasn't as easy as I expected, so I went online and ordered. These are the best nuts to buy so that you don't have to boil them and then rub them between towels to skin them. What a mess that makes!! I would definitely purchase these again.

I do alot of baking, and the time spent trying to remove the skins of hazelnuts is a pain. These are perfected toasted and ready to use. They save time and money!

I hit the nuts on a towel so that they will separate into halves and then use these in all my biscotti recipes.
I also sacrificed these beautiful things and ground them up to use as a coating on good quality fish filets which I then sautee.
I also candied some of them to eat as a treat at my appetizer table.
When I chopped them just a little I realized that they would be wonderful in a salad that I make with sliced pears and dried cranberries with a warm maple vinagrette dressing.
The options are endless.
