Ground Walnuts (Walnut Meal)

I have diverticulitis and cannot have nuts or seeds. I missed them as I always put nuts in about everything I baked . Just the tiny hard nut pieces or seeds,like even tomato,strawberries,broccoli,etc. would put me in the hospital. So hard to keep good nutrition. when I found this walnut meal,I was almost afraid to try it. I got brave and ordered it. I got the surprise of my life when they arrived so quickly.! Excellent shipping. They were so fresh and not hard (like others,(maybe stale from sitting on the shelf). I opened them immediately and got a teaspoon full and just ate them.Oh,the satisfaction of good walnuts that I had missed for 3 yrs.I cannot thank you enough for the freshest,sweetest tasting walnut meal !!!.You can be assured that I'm going to try all the other good flours and meals you have. I like to bake pumpkin bread(which I did, and it was wonderful,) I sprinkled some walnut meal on top of the loaf,as well as in it, and a small sprinkle of organic healthy sugar on top of that for a bit of a glaze. Used to baked over 50 dozen holiday nut horns and russian tea cakes

I need ground walnuts for baking Christmas cookies, and they are almost impossible to find in the stores. I used to get them from a major walnut company, but they stopped selling them several years ago. I had been grinding my own, which is time consuming and they never are fine enough. These walnuts were perfect.

I bought this for my dad, because his diet is generally of poor quality. He also has difficulty chewing. He adds 2 heaping teaspoons of walnut meal to his oatmeal in the morning.

These were the freshest walnuts I have every purchased. I used them to make some nut roll and Christmas cookies. I bought extra to freeze for use later. So glad I bought extra. Wonderful. Will order again. Thank you.

I used the nuts to bake a traditional family recipe, nut rolls and kolacky. Nuts need to be finely ground and these nuts come already to use without having to go through the messy step of grinding 4-5lbs of fresh walnuts. Great product.

I use a lot of ground walnuts at Christmas; I make a nut spritz cookie that goes through a narrow opening. Local stores don't even sell ground walnuts for the last 2 years, and my attempts to make the product I need was sub par. Your nuts have a wonderful flavor and the beautiful fine texture I need.

I found this product to be excellent for decorating cookies. I thought that it was a little to finely "ground" for things like russian teacakes, but good for toppings on cookies and ice cream!!

The ground nuts are hard to find, but these arrived quickly and are perfect. They are working out great in cookies that call for the ground walnuts.
