Sweet jelly roll

I froze the cake as recommended on the box and defrosted it for my Seder. The cake was good but way too sweet for my taste. I cut a slice that was about a half inch thick and still could only eat a half a piece at a time. Maybe next year I'll try the chocolate one.

We served this jelly roll as a holiday dessert and everyone enjoyed it. For years, our family has made wry jokes about how pretty Passover cakes are but how they taste as if they're decorating contest mockups--styrofoam or cardboard. This one passed the test. No bad jokes. Thank you.
